Since 1999, the prestigious Con-Tech Lighting Awards recognize and honor the excellent work of designers, architects and specifiers of lighting using Con-Tech products. Entries are judged on creativity, originality and effective use of Con-Tech Lighting products. One winning design will be chosen from the application categories.

The challenge was to light a bath showroom with a flexible lighting system that makes the products sparkle while conserving energy and achieving LEED Certification. A residential feel with sparkle was achieved with incandescent lamps on the curvable Magellan low voltage rail, which allowed the lighting to reflect the shape of the displays. By selecting appropriate beam spreads for the lamps in the Con-Tech Gyro fixture, no light was wasted. This design is achieved LEED Commercial Interior Certification for the Retail Pilot Project.
